Timothy Sanders
History of Our Foundation
Timothy Sanders played an influential roll at Galatians 2:20 Ministries Worship Center. He joined with the ministry in 2016. However, he was already known by the members because of his frequent visits with his best friend, Latrisa Smith. Even as a visitor, it was very apparent that he had the gift of helps by his constant concern for the needs of others. After he became a member, He immediately began to give of his time and resources. He would bring snacks and drinks for the children's ministry. He would bring household products for the adults in need. He would give greeting cards to uplift heavy hearts. Wherever he saw a need, he would supply. He began to do inventory of all the church's household supplies. Then, he would purchase them and bring them back. He never asked for pay nor did he accept payment for any of his services. He served with a cheerful heart.
Tim went home to be with the Lord March 4, 2019. Soon after his passing, Holy Spirit spoke to the Youth Pastor, Larshay Watson regarding starting up a foundation in Tim's honor. He spoke with the Lead Pastor, Apostle Cynthia Buford, and they both began the process of organizing the foundation. The Timothy Sanders Foundation became a non-profit corporation July 2021.
TSF was birthed from the membership of Galatians 2:20 Ministries Worship Center (G2:20). G2:20 will continue Timothy Sanders' legacy by doing what he did best-GIVE.
